Russell Investments appoints head of France

US asset manager appoints Paris-based Riccardo Stucchi to build its business in the country

US asset manager Russell Investments has appointed Riccardo Stucchi as managing director, head of France.

Based in Paris, Stucchi will seek to develop the group’s business in France, where Russell Investments provides multi-asset solutions and investment services. He reports to Joe Linhares, Head of EMEA.

Stucchi brings more than 20 years of experience with financial institutions in continental Europe. He joins Russell Investments from Black Rock in Paris, where was head of financial Institutions business development for France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Russell Investments manages €10bn of assets on behalf of French domiciled clients, including DB and DC pension schemes, insurers, banks as well as IFAs.

Joe Linhares, head of EMEA, Russell Investments said: “Riccardo has a strong track record of leading teams in Europe and extensive experience of the French market. He brings a wealth of business development expertise, coupled with a strong investment background.
