PGIM Investments targets Swiss market

US group has hired Zürich-based Pascal Weber to develop relationships with global, regional and local banks

PGIM Investments has established operations in Switzerland as it seeks to develop its European footprint.

The group has hired Pascal Weber to develop relationships with global, regional and local banks, as well as financial intermediaries. He will be based in Zurich.

Weber joins PGIM Investments from Alliance Bernstein, where he was responsible for financial intermediary sales in Switzerland.

PGIM Investments is the asset management arm of US life insurance company Prudential Financial.

Launched in 2013, PGIM Investments’ Ucits offering covers 28 equity and fixed income strategies, both traditional and alternative, including 11 funds with AUM over US$100m.
