Norway’s third largest private life company has promoted Hans-Erik Lind to fill the role of chief executive.
Lind has worked at Nordea since 2000 and is currently head of business development for the Nordic corporate market.
He will succeed Vibeke Siljan Krohn on 1 October.
She has held the post on an interim basis for the past six months and will return to her role of chief commercial officer.
The chief executive role was left vacant after Randi Marjamaa was promoted to head of personal banking and country senior executive, Norway.
Hit the ground running
Lind’s appointment comes shortly after the firm announced that it is to buy the pension portfolio of Frende Forsikring, which has roughly NOK4.2bn (€392m) of unit-linked assets.
The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
