Dublin-based Mediolanum International Funds has hired Damian Barry as head of multi-asset multi-management.
Barry will report to Christophe Jaubert who is chief investment officer of the Irish asset management division, which is part of the Mediolanum Banking Group.
Barry will seek to develop group’s multi-asset offering, by working with the manager research team.
“With growing client demand for more outcome-oriented solutions, particularly in the currently uncertain landscape, Damian’s focus will be ensuring MIFL meets client expectations by navigating the challenges of fluctuating markets,” said Jaubert.
Barry joins MIFL from Seven Investment Management, where he was responsible for running multi-asset portfolios and developing top-down asset allocation decisions alongside bottom-up passive and active fund selection. Prior to this, he worked for Columbia Threadneedle and Russell Investments.
Mediolanum manages €35m assets.
