The Franklin LibertyShares ETF platform was already available in the US, with an expanded range launched for fund buyers in Europe on Friday.

The launch marks Franklin’s first move into the ETF space.

The Franklin LibertyQ Global Equity SRI ETF and US Equity ETF are two equity funds focused on investing in quality stocks, the firm said.

A further two ETFs, Franklin LibertyQ Global Dividend and European Dividend have an income-focus.

The portfolios will be managed by former Blackrock manager Dina Ting, now vice president and senior portfolio manager of the global ETFs group at Franklin Templeton, and a second Blackrock alumnus Lorenzo Crosata, vice president and ETF portfolio manager.
