copenhagen investors forecast tipping point

Danish fund selectors will continue reducing their low-yielding bond allocations over the next 12 months and have a strong appetite for global equities, the latest Expert Investor Europe Market Insight report reveals

According to the report, which is based on interviews conducted in Copenhagen with insurance companies and pension schemes, the city’s investors are overwhelmingly upbeat on the macroeconomic outlook.

Interviewees forecast that markets are approaching a “tipping point” where investors move into equities in greater numbers, following the 30-year bull-run in bonds. In line with this view, Danish fund selectors plan in aggregate to increase their exposure to most major stock market regions.
