Flavio Carpenzano (pictured) has been named a fixed income investment director at Capital Group.
Reporting to Jeremy Cunningham, investment director, Carpenzano will work in the investment specialist team to bring the firm’s fixed income offering to retail and institutional clients across Europe.
He was previously a senior investment strategist at Alliance Bernstein (AB), where he supported the strategic growth and servicing of the fixed income business across Emea.
Prior to that he was a product manager at Pimco, focused on developing its range of credit strategies.
Capital Group has more than $2.4trn (€2trn) of assets under management, with more than $441bn of that in fixed income.
