Kristina Najjar-Wahlgren has left Pimco to become head of Nordic distribution at BNY Mellon Investment Management.
Based in Stockholm. she joined the company on 15 March.
In her new role, Najjar-Wahlgren will lead the firm’s distribution strategy in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland.
She will focus on providing institutional and intermediary clients in the region with investment solutions from BNY Mellon Investment Management’s investment firms; including Alcentra, Insight, Newton and Walter Scott.
Najjar-Wahlgren was previously head of distribution for Nordic at Pimco. Prior to this, she spent over a decade at Aberdeen Asset Management building its business in the region.
