The private banking arm of Switzerland’s Syz Group has named Antoine Denis to lead its advisory offering, with immediate effect.
Reporting into Nicolas Syz, head of Syz Private Banking, Denis will be based in Geneva and co-head the investment department with Luc Filip, head of discretionary portfolio management.
His responsibilities include further enhancing the group’s institutional-grade investment and reporting processes, combined with macro overlays that help protect client portfolios.
In addition, Denis will focus on developing the advisory team by seeking to attract the “highest calibre investment professionals”, Bank Syz said.
He has been tasked with reviewing and expanding the Syz advisory product offering across focus countries and investment segments.
London, Paris, Geneva
Denis has worked in the investment industry for more than a decade and has extensive experience working with private clients.
He was most recently at Geneva-based private bank Bordier & Cie, where he has been head of advisory since 2015.
Prior to this role, he worked at Lyxor Asset Management in London and Pictet & Cie in Paris.
Commenting on his appointment, Denis said: “I look forward to joining one of the most innovative active investment boutiques, which is constantly challenging the status quo and putting a strong emphasis on employee and client culture.”
