Absolute return – a must-have if you want low-volatility investments

Richard Brown of Henderson Global Investors argues that in a post-Trump world, investors need to partly replace traditional bond investments with absolute-return type of funds.

“In a post-Trump world, a lot of investors are questioning those traditional areas of low volatility like bonds, corporate bonds,” says Brown.

“Investors are going to increasingly look to absolute return-type of funds to supplement the low-vol part of their portfolio,” he predicts.
