Absolute return funds in Europe have suffered significant outflows over the last year following the high-profile liquidation of Swiss asset manager Gam’s €9.5bn absolute return fund range in August.

In this video, Wolfgang Bauer, a fixed income fund manager at M&G Investments, seeks to ease investors’ concerns about the battered asset class.

Bauer is co-manager of the Luxembourg-domiciled M&G Absolute Return Bond Fund.
