Coppée said ESG used to be more of a conviction and ideology but now it was a good way to invest for alpha and for the future.
While Coppée noted that millennials and generation X were becoming new clients of the investment world and that they were convinced that they had to invest in a way that respected ESG concepts. However, he said it would be unlikely that 100% of investments would be in the ESG universe within a period of 10 to 20 years.
