GAM’s poll, which was conducted at a client event attended by 78 investors and featured prominently on the front page of the FTfm on Monday, shows that investors’ assessment about a Grexit has not really changed over the past weeks, athough Greece and its creditors keep failing to reach an agreement on the extension of Greece’s bail-out.
Separate polls at six EIE single-country events held in May and June show an average ofexactly 33.6% of delegates believing Greece will leave the eurozone. This outcome corresponds neatly with the result of a poll conducted at EIE’s Pan-European Congress in March, when 37% of delegates said they believed in a Grexit.
